About Nathanial Brown
Nathanial Brown is a Registered Psychologist offering after-hours and weekend appointments for individual adults seeking support. He works with people navigating a wide range of life challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, low self-worth, obsessions and compulsions, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Nathan has experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients, and is committed to creating a therapeutic space that feels safe, down-to-earth, respectful, and genuine.
Nathan approaches therapy with warmth, curiosity, and openness, drawing on a genuine interest in people’s stories to help clients better understand their challenges as well as their strengths and move toward meaningful change.
Therapeutic Approach
Nathan offers an evidence-based, collaborative approach to therapy, integrating:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Schema Therapy (ST)
Working alongside each client as a team, Nathan tailors therapy to individual needs, goals, and pace. His style is flexible and compassionate, helping clients make sense of their experiences, build self-understanding, and develop practical tools to support lasting change.
Nathan believes therapy is not about judgment or “fixing” people, but about creating space for insight, growth, and self-compassion.
Outside the Therapy Room
Like many people, Nathan has his own lived experience with mental health challenges and understands how difficult it can be to reach out for support. This perspective strongly informs his work, guiding him to lead with empathy, flexibility, and a non-judgemental stance in all therapeutic relationships.
If you would like to learn more or explore whether working together feels like a good fit, Nathan warmly invites you to reach out.
